Leather

A rugged yet refined leather, our Rustico collection features a full body and heavy shrunken grain. This collection is tanned in Italy in small batches from full grain Buffalo shoulders. Made to highlight the gorgeous character of full grain leather, Rustico leathers get their grain texture through a natural tumbling process which allows the leather to develop unique lines and grain depth. It is also vegetable-tanned and aniline dyed, which is the most natural method of adding color to leather, and one that leaves the natural leather surface and all its original markings completely visible. A hand glazed finish tops it off, for added shine and protection.

Care: Spot clean with a damp cloth. Use our leather cleaner and conditioner to maintain your leather’s beautiful texture and shine.

Inspired by well-worn riding boots and leather-bound library books, this rich red-brown leather is as gorgeous as can be.

    Bifold wallet with flap

    Wallet appeared well made. It’s about 4 times the price of other similar wallets. Would expect the leather to be softer and more supple. Not sure the higher price is warranted, but the wallet will probably last for a long time.

    Disappointed

    The leather is not luxurious, for the price. There is a RFID lining inside the wallet, between the bill compartments and the credit card holder section, and everytime my husband takes it out, it rustles. Sounds so cheap. It was his birthday gift, but the rustle sounds like plastic & is hard to miss, even for me. His reaction made me sad. In the description, it says that it makes noise, but this is loud. 3 stars for the embossing. The leather is called luxurious, but he has had much more luxurious leather wallets and this turned out to be not as great as the pictures or reviews make it to be.
