Leatherology has made every attempt to provide the most accurate information on this website and we cannot be held liable for any typographical errors or inaccuracies contained within it. Upon notification, we immediately make an effort to correct errors that we find or that are brought to our attention. All information, prices, and special offerings presented on this site are subject to change without prior notice.
Changes to Terms
Leatherology reserves the right to update, modify, or replace these Terms & Conditions at any time at our sole discretion. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. Your continued use of our website or placement of orders following the posting of any changes constitutes your acceptance of those changes. We encourage you to review these Terms & Conditions periodically to stay informed of any updates.
Age Requirement
By placing an order on leatherology.com, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater. If you are under 18, you may only use this website with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.
Order Acceptance & Cancellation
All prices on leatherology.com are displayed in U.S. Dollars (USD). Your receipt of an order confirmation email does not constitute our acceptance of your order. Leatherology reserves the right to accept or decline any order at our sole discretion. We may cancel orders due to pricing errors, inventory errors, suspected fraud, or other reasons we deem reasonable. If it is discovered that an item is priced on our website in error, we will notify you of the correct pricing via email and give you the option of agreeing to the order at the correct price or canceling the order. If your order is canceled, you will be notified via email and any payment collected will be refunded to your original payment method.
If you need to cancel or modify an order, please contact our Customer Care team at 1.800.818.4478 as soon as possible. Once an order has been processed, entered production, or been shipped, we may not be able to accommodate cancellation or modification requests.
Product Images & Descriptions
All product images, including thumbnails and enlarged views, are not shown in actual size. Additionally, computer monitor settings vary and may affect how colors and product characteristics appear on your screen. While we strive for accuracy, the appearance of products on our website may differ slightly from the actual item. We encourage customers to review product dimensions and descriptions carefully and to contact our Customer Care team at 1.800.818.4478 with any questions before placing an order.
Personalization
Leatherology offers several personalization services. By submitting a personalization request, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
- You are solely responsible for reviewing and confirming the accuracy of all personalization details — including spelling, capitalization, font selection, color, and placement — before completing your order.
- Personalized items are made to your specifications as submitted. Leatherology is not responsible for errors in spelling, formatting, or content that were entered by the customer.
- Due to the nature of our personalization process, slight variations in placement, sizing, and appearance may occur. These variations are inherent to the craft and are not considered defects.
- Personalized items are considered final sale and are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund.
- If you believe there is an error in your personalization that was caused by Leatherology, please contact our Customer Care team at 1.800.818.4478 within 14 days of delivery with photos of the item and your original order number. We will review and work with you to resolve the issue.
Backorders & Extended Lead Times
While we strive to maintain accurate inventory levels, from time to time items may be temporarily out of stock or on backorder. In these instances, order lead times may be extended up to 90 days or longer depending on product availability and production schedules.
If your order is affected by a backorder or extended lead time, we will notify you via email with an estimated fulfillment date. You may choose to wait for the item or cancel your order for a full refund. If you do not respond to our notification, we will hold your order until the item becomes available. Leatherology is not responsible for delays caused by backorders or extended production times and will not provide compensation beyond the option to cancel for a refund.
Store Credit
Leatherology Store Credit is issued at our sole discretion and may be provided in instances such as refunds where the original payment method is no longer available, customer service resolutions, or other circumstances as determined by Leatherology. Store Credit is not available for purchase.
Store Credit is tied to the email address where the credit was issued and cannot be transferred to another account. You must be logged in with the same email address to view and redeem your Store Credit balance. Store Credit balances will not appear if you log in with a different email address.
Store Credit may be redeemed for merchandise purchases online at leatherology.com and is valid on any order, including corporate orders. Store Credit may be combined with other payment methods at checkout. If your order total exceeds your Store Credit balance, you may pay the remaining amount with another payment method. If your order total is less than your Store Credit balance, the remaining credit will stay on your account for future use.
Store Credit does not expire. No inactivity or service fees apply. Store Credit has no cash value and is not refundable or redeemable for cash. Store Credit cannot be used to purchase Virtual Gift Cards.
When Store Credit is issued, you will receive an email notification to the email address associated with your account. Your Store Credit balance will be applied directly to your account and will appear automatically under Payment Options at checkout when you are logged in.
Leatherology reserves the right to refuse to honor Store Credit in the event of suspected fraud, abuse, or any failure of consideration. Leatherology reserves the right to modify or cancel the Store Credit program at any time without prior notice.
Marketing Communications
In multiple areas of the site, we provide you with the opportunity to sign up or opt in to receive our email marketing communications so you can participate in sales and special discounts and to notify you about new product offerings. You may unsubscribe from these marketing emails at any time. If you already receive marketing email notifications, unchecking an opt-in check box does not constitute an unsubscribe. In order to unsubscribe from our marketing emails, you must click one of the "Unsubscribe" links provided at the bottom of every email, or contact us at 1.800.818.4478.
Please note that even if you unsubscribe from marketing emails, you will continue to receive transactional emails related to your orders, such as order confirmations, shipping notifications, and customer service communications. These emails are necessary to complete your purchase and cannot be opted out of.
The Leatherology mobile message service (the "Service") is operated by Leatherology ("Leatherology", "we", or "us"). Your use of the Service constitutes your agreement to these terms and conditions ("Mobile Terms"). We may modify or cancel the Service or any of its features without notice. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we may also modify these Mobile Terms at any time and your continued use of the Service following the effective date of any such changes shall constitute your acceptance of such changes.
By consenting to Leatherology's SMS/text messaging service, you agree to receive recurring SMS/text messages from and on behalf of Leatherology through your wireless provider to the mobile number you provided, even if your mobile number is registered on any state or federal Do Not Call list. Text messages may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system or other technology. Service-related messages may include updates, alerts, and information (e.g., order updates, account alerts, etc.). Promotional messages may include promotions, specials, and other marketing offers (e.g., cart reminders).
You understand that you do not have to sign up for this program in order to make any purchases, and your consent is not a condition of any purchase with Leatherology. Your participation in this program is completely voluntary.
We do not charge for the Service, but you are responsible for all charges and fees associated with text messaging imposed by your wireless provider. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile plan and contact your wireless provider for details. You are solely responsible for all charges related to SMS/text messages, including charges from your wireless provider.
You may opt-out of the Service at any time. Text the single keyword command STOP to +18663496154 or click the unsubscribe link (where available) in any text message to cancel. You'll receive a one-time opt-out confirmation text message. No further messages will be sent to your mobile device, unless initiated by you. If you have subscribed to other Leatherology mobile message programs and wish to cancel, except where applicable law requires otherwise, you will need to opt out separately from those programs by following the instructions provided in their respective mobile terms.

We may change any short code or telephone number we use to operate the Service at any time and will notify you of these changes. You acknowledge that any messages, including any STOP or HELP requests, you send to a short code or telephone number we have changed may not be received and we will not be responsible for honoring requests made in such messages.
The wireless carriers supported by the Service are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. You agree to provide us with a valid mobile number. If you get a new mobile number, you will need to sign up for the program with your new number.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that we will not be liable for failed, delayed, or misdirected delivery of any information sent through the Service, any errors in such information, and/or any action you may or may not take in reliance on the information or Service.

Account Terms
Customer accounts on leatherology.com are limited to one account per person. If multiple accounts are identified for the same customer, Leatherology reserves the right to merge those accounts. Leatherology also reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account at any time, with or without notice, for suspected fraud, abuse, or violation of these Terms & Conditions.
Copyright & Trademarks
All content, logos, graphics, photo images and designs found on this website are the property of Leatherology and may be subject to the protection of U.S. and international copyright and trademark law. Any use of this information for any purpose, in any form or by any means without written permission from Leatherology is strictly prohibited.
Content & Review Standards
Leatherology encourages customers to submit product reviews, photos, comments and feedback on our website ("Reviews"). By submitting a Review to our website, you hereby grant Leatherology a perpetual, fully-paid, royalty-free, worldwide right to license and use, transfer, reproduce, distribute, and make available such review content on our site and our marketing materials. Any Reviews you submit to Leatherology must abide by our community rules. This means they cannot:
- Include profanity, obscene, vulgar, offensive or hateful language
- Be interpreted as being infringing, defamatory, libelous, inaccurate, unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, obscene, pornographic, objectionable, or promote discrimination, bigotry, racism, or hatred, as determined by Leatherology in its sole discretion
- Infringe the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, publicity rights, or other legal rights of any third party
- Contain inaccurate information or content (where it states facts)
- Contain no product information or relevancy to the product at hand
- Contain any advertising or promote any goods or services or links to other websites
In addition, Reviews will only be accepted from genuine, verifiable purchasers. Leatherology reserves the right to remove, redact or otherwise modify Reviews for any reason, with or without notice, including because they do not meet our community rules.
Third-Party Services
Leatherology utilizes third-party service providers for payment processing, shipping, and other services necessary to fulfill your order. These providers include, but are not limited to, credit card processors, shipping carriers (such as USPS, UPS, FedEx and DHL), and fraud prevention services.
Leatherology is not responsible for the actions, errors, or omissions of these third-party providers. This includes, but is not limited to, payment processing failures, shipping delays, lost or damaged packages in transit, and customs or import fees. Any disputes related to third-party services should be directed to the appropriate provider, though our Customer Care team is happy to assist in facilitating resolution where possible.
Limitation of Liability
Leatherology and DC International, Inc ("DCI") make no representations or warranties of any kind, whether expressed or implied, regarding the operation of this website, its information, content, availability, or shipping.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Leatherology and DCI, including their officers, directors, employees, affiliates, and agents, shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of this website, your purchase of products, or these Terms & Conditions. This includes, but is not limited to, damages for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
In no event shall Leatherology's or DCI's total liability to you for all claims arising from or related to your use of this website or purchase of products exceed the total amount you paid for the product(s) giving rise to the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you. In such cases, our liability will be limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.
Force Majeure
Leatherology shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform any obligation under these Terms & Conditions if the delay or failure results from events beyond our reasonable control. Such events include, but are not limited to, natural disasters, acts of God, war, terrorism, riots, labor disputes, government actions, pandemics, epidemics, carrier delays, supply chain disruptions, power outages, or other events that are unforeseeable or unavoidable.
In the event of a force majeure occurrence, Leatherology will make reasonable efforts to notify affected customers and resume normal operations as soon as practicable.
Dispute Resolution & Arbitration
You agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms & Conditions, your use of this website, or your purchase of products from Leatherology shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiations by contacting our Customer Care team at 1.800.818.4478 or support@leatherology.com.
If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation within thirty (30) days, you agree that the dispute shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) in accordance with its Consumer Arbitration Rules. Arbitration shall take place in Dallas County, Texas, unless otherwise agreed by the parties.
You agree to arbitrate disputes on an individual basis only. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against Leatherology or DCI. This arbitration agreement shall survive termination of your account or relationship with Leatherology.
Notwithstanding the above, either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect its intellectual property rights or confidential information.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions and any disputes arising out of or related to them or your use of this website shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
For any matters not subject to arbitration, you expressly consent and agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Dallas County, Texas.
Notice for Canadian Shipping
"By ordering goods from Leatherology, I hereby authorize a Canadian customs broker chosen by Leatherology to act as my agent, and to transact business with the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) to clear my merchandise, account for duties and taxes, to return merchandise to Leatherology, and prepare and submit refund claims on my behalf for any merchandise that I return. I understand that the CBSA will send any refund of duties and taxes that were paid on the returned merchandise to the broker, and that I will obtain the refund directly from Leatherology. Further, I also authorize the customs broker to endorse any refund issued by the CBSA in my name, so that Leatherology can be reimbursed."
